金魚仙人の緑の金魚 Green Goldfish.

９日、金魚仙人こと川原やどる氏に会いに、魚類の研究者で横浜美大学長の岡本信明先生と伺いました。川原氏は「緑の金魚」を作出しようと40年以上を費やしている方です。見せていただいた緑の金魚は、固定はまだまだ難しいそうなのですが、中には緑色がキラリ！と光るものも出ており、将来にとても期待が持てました。緑色は無理だと言われる金魚界の既成概念を９７歳でもなお打ち砕かんとする川原氏の気迫に心が震えました。ありがとうございました！

On the 9th, I was able to visit Mr. Yadoru Kawahara. I was accompanied by Mr. Okamoto, the President of Yokohama University of Arts and Design.  

Mr. Kawahara has invested over 40 years of his life trying to create "green"goldfish. Some of the goldfish he was able to share with me already had a tint of green. Although it will still take time before it is established/acknowledged as a new breed, I am so inspired by his passion at his age (97years old!!) to turn mission impossible to mission possible. Thank you so much!!
